Actually, ignore that last post, i'll give you the link, it's a more tidy list

/travel acts like a demat lever
/sound allows you to play sounds from normal MC or from the Dalek Mod. Try /sound random.explode as an example
/particle allows you to show particles from normal MC, an example is in the classic Tardis already available in update 40(to spawn a classic interior just enter a 1963 Tardis)
/echo not sure what this does tbh, find out yourself!

If the server is offline I will fix it when I get home later. Or just ask Matt, he has access to the server console, he can sort it out for you.

Because the chunks don't even exist. It attempts to make more, but minecraft client doesn't render them at all, so it doesn't know what to do and crashes.

And before you ask: these things happen and are not controlled, so it's impossible to know when or how long these things will last
