What is Beta Access?

SWDTeam Beta Access gives you exclusive previews of features currently in development, along with early access to beta builds of our mods, and website features.

Your account will also receive the Beta Access rank on the SWDTeam website.

Beta Access is your window into projects before they are released to everyone else.

How access works

After purchasing Beta Access:

  1. Open the menu beneath your profile picture.
  2. Select SWDTeam Beta Access.
  3. Browse the available previews and beta products.
  4. Check back regularly as new content is posted.

Some beta products will ask you to sign in with your SWDTeam username and password when they launch. This verifies that the account has Beta Access; products launched with a standard account may close or refuse to load.

Beta Access rules

Access comes with a few important conditions:

  1. Do not distribute beta files to anyone who does not have Beta Access.
  2. Do not record, stream, or publicly show beta products without explicit permission. Ask us first if you are unsure.
  3. Be prepared to sign in when launching a beta product so your access can be verified.
  4. Never share your account details to give someone else access.
Accounts are monitored for misuse. Breaking these rules may result in the loss of Beta Access or your SWDTeam account.

Discord perks

Beta members receive access to a dedicated section of the SWD Community Discord, featuring:

  • Special teasers and Beta Access content.
  • Dedicated beta discussion channels.
  • A place to talk with other Beta members.

To request the Discord role, visit the support channel, share a link to your SWDTeam profile, and ask for the Beta role.

Discord integration may be added in the future, to allow for automated role assignments.

Beta benefits on DMU

Your purchase also includes the Beta rank on the DMU server, with:

  • The Donator rank’s commands, plus chat formatting.
  • /mount, /sit, and /skin.
  • Access to the 1.20.1 Beta Server.

To apply the rank, open your profile, select Inventory, choose the rank, then click Set DMU rank.
